🔖 Art. ML3D_0031 FREE parametric BSP BLANKING PLUG / CAP by MarineLab3D — close off a BSP port on a manifold, fitting or pipe. Pairs with our parametric Manifold Body and BSP fittings. 🔩 Male plug: solid male BSP thread + wrench hex (compact min A/F) — screws INTO a female port (manifold ends, female outlets) 🧢 Female cap: closed hex cap with internal thread — screws OVER a male port/nipple 📐 BSP sizes 1/8" to 1 1/2" (ISO 228) · optional O-ring face seat 🖨️ Print in ASA/PETG · PA612-CF for fuel/pressure. Seal with PTFE tape or an O-ring. Use “Customize dimensions” to set BSP size, male/female and O-ring, preview in 3D, then download your free STL. ⚠️ PRESSURE USE (above ~1 bar): print in PETG (not ASA — better layer sealing), with SOLID walls (enough perimeters to fully fill the wall thickness — do not rely on infill), Z-seam set to “Scarf joint”, low part-cooling fan, flow +2–3%, and the thread/seam axis VERTICAL. Most onboard plumbing systems run at max ~3 bar: at this level these print settings + a GENEROUS amount of PTFE tape / thread sealant on the threads are enough. Always pressure-test at ~2× working pressure before use. Only for pressures above ~4 bar: also brush a thin coat of epoxy resin inside for a guaranteed seal.
