MarineLab3D — Disclaimer & Terms of Use
1. Digital products. MarineLab3D sells digital 3D files (STL and parametric models), not finished physical parts. What you receive is a file to 3D-print yourself or have printed.
2. Print-dependent performance. The strength, dimensional accuracy, watertightness and safety of the finished part depend on your 3D printer, filament/material, print orientation, settings, post-processing and assembly — all outside MarineLab3D’s control.
3. Your responsibilities. Before and after printing you must verify all dimensions for your application, use the recommended material, follow the print advice provided, and inspect every print for defects.
4. Load-bearing and pressure parts. Any suggested loads or pressures are indicative estimates for a well-printed part in the recommended material — not guarantees or ratings. You must carry out your own load and/or pressure test before relying on such a part. Do NOT use printed parts for life-safety or critical applications — including lifelines, jackstays, harness or tether attachment points, standing rigging, steering or rudder components, and gas or fuel systems — unless the part has been independently tested and certified by a qualified professional for that use.
5. No warranty. All files and models are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
6. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MarineLab3D and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss or personal injury arising from the download, printing, use or misuse of the products.
7. Not certified equipment. MarineLab3D products are not certified or approved marine safety equipment and are not a substitute for it.
8. Changes. MarineLab3D may update these terms at any time; the version published here applies to your use.
