Textile Padeye LIGHT by MarineLab3D — a parametric attachment point with a PRECISION thread. Generates a KIT of TWO parts: a THREADED FLANGED BUSHING that bonds to the hull/deck and a FLANGED CAP NUT. The textile loop runs through the bushing’s rounded bore (no chafe); the cap nut screws on and seals with PTFE (Teflon) tape — a precise fit, not a loose one. You download a ZIP with two separate STL files (bushing + cap-nut). 🪢 Three textile/rope sizes: 3 mm · 4 mm · 5 mm 📏 Customizable hull thickness (1–60 mm) · fine precision thread (1.5 mm pitch), 12 mm long · seals with PTFE tape ⬇ Flanged bushing (flange bonded to the deck) · flanged cap nut (open on the flange side, closed on top, reinforcement chamfer) 🛠️ Assembly: once printed, complete the padeye by inserting the textile loop into the bushing and screwing on the cap nut with PTFE tape — follow the video tutorial. 💪 Suggested max load: up to 80 kg (3 mm) · up to 140 kg (4 mm) · up to 180 kg (5 mm). 🧵 Recommended material: PA612-CF15 (carbon-reinforced nylon) for full load; PETG/ASA for light-duty only. 0.15–0.2 mm layers, 4+ perimeters, high infill on the load path. 📐 For correct performance: drill the deck hole precise to the millimetre (to match the bushing) and make sure the flange sits on a solid, flat bearing surface. ⚠️ Load-bearing part: always verify with your own load test before relying on it in service.
