Low-friction grooved ring by MarineLab3D — a smooth U-grooved ring sized to your line, for lashings, soft shackles, loops and simple low-load fairleads. The rounded U-groove cradles the rope and the lips are rounded outward so they blend into the body and won't chafe the line. Just pick your rope (cima) diameter and receive the matching STL. 🪢 U-groove sized to the rope, with outward-rounded lips that flow into the body — gentle on the line. 📏 One choice: rope Ø 4 · 6 · 8 · 10 · 12 · 14 · 16 mm. Hole, section and groove scale automatically to the chosen line. 🟠 Smooth toroidal body, no sharp edges. 🧵 **Print material:** use **PA612-CF (best)** or **PTFE** for low friction and abrasion/UV resistance. 🪚 **Before use:** sand the groove with **200 → 400 → 600 grit** to get a smooth surface and avoid damaging your lines. ⚠️ **Not for high loads** — for light lashings/guiding only, not for structural or heavily loaded rigging. Use "Customize" to select the rope diameter, preview in 3D, then receive your STL after purchase.
