It engages only 2 turns, the thread groove is deliberately loose axially, and a CONICAL SEAT above the thread is what actually centres and seals against the cartridge spout. The thread's only job is to pull the nozzle on — the cone does the rest. That's how factory nozzles work, and it's why they screw onto anything.\nIf your cartridge still feels tight or loose, use the \"Thread clearance\" slider: 0.5 = tight · 0.7 = normal (default) · 0.9 = loose.\n\n🖨️ PRINT SETTINGS — please read, the thread depends on it\n⚠️ Layer height 0.12–0.15 mm. This is not optional. The internal thread is a helical overhang: at 0.20 mm each layer oversteps its own extrusion width and the thread crests sag inward — the nozzle then won't screw onto the cartridge. At 0.15 mm it prints clean; at 0.12 mm it's perfect.\n🧭 Orientation: threaded collar DOWN on the plate, tip UP.
